Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank
located in New York City is seeking a Credit
Analyst / AVP to join their Credit
Division. This
individual will be responsible for the
design and implementation of credit
framework regarding their Public Finance
transactions. The incumbent should possess
excellent credit analysis / risk management
skills, experience performing credit
analysis at financial institution preferably
a bank and knowledge of banking products.

Assist in
the development and
implementation of credit
framework for the Public Finance
Business – develop rules /
regulations and risk acceptance
criteria

Review
credit applications and make
credit recommendations to
management – prepare written
credit analysis.

Monitor
existing portfolio of
transactions – keep abreast with
existing borrowers

Perform
industry research and keep
abreast with the Public Finance
Market

Qualifications
-
4 + years
of credit analysis at a bank or
financial institution
-
Knowledge
of credit and risk principles
-
Excellent
communication skills – written
and oral
-
Ability to
communicate with internal and
external clients

Knowledge
of the Public Finance Business
highly preferred

Bachelor’s
Degree required
-
Formal
credit training preferred
