Our client, a prestigious asset management
firm, is seeking a Corporate Accountant for
their offices in Jersey City, NJ.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of
experience in an accounting role and will be
responsible for general accounting
functions.

Assist
Controller with the preparation
of financial statements

Prepare
general ledger entries.

Reconcile
GL accounts and as well as bank
statements.

Ability to
manipulate financial data into
reports and spreadsheets.

Ad-hoc
projects.

Qualifications
-
2+ years in
an accounting role
-
Extensive
knowledge of accounting
principles
-
Detail-oriented.
-
Strong
communication skills.
-
Proficient
in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc).

Bachelor’s
degree required.

CPA a plus.
