Responsibilities
Our client, a major International Bank in
New York City, is seeking an AVP level and
Analyst Level Credit Officer for their Latin
American Emerging Markets Group.
These individuals will posses excellent
credit analysis skills and experience
analyzing Financial Institutions and large
corporations within the Latin American
Markets. This individual must be bi-lingual
in English and Spanish or Portuguese, and
will have a broad knowledge of economic and
political factors affecting the Latin
American region.

Perform
in-depth credit analyses of
Latin American financial
institutions and corporations
-
Perform
country reviews and update
ratings – prepare reports on a
daily / weekly and monthly basis
-
Prepare
sector analyses and keep abreast
with economic / political issues
ongoing within the Latin America
region
-
Continually
monitor all pertinent issues and
events and report to management

Qualifications
-
2 + years’
experience in emerging market
credit analysis at a financial
services firm
-
Experience
analyzing Latin American
Financial Institutions and
Corporations
-
Excellent
industry analysis / keeping
abreast with Latin American
issues etc
-
Bi-Lingual
in English and Spanish or
Portuguese – excellent English
writing skills

Strong
credit analysis skills – formal
bank credit training a plus

Undergraduate degree in Finance,
Accounting or Economics – MBA a
plus
