Location
Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank, is
currently seeking an AVP or VP level M&A
professional to join their Investment
Banking/Strategic Advisory Group in New York
City. The ideal
candidate has 7+ years analyzing M&A
transactions and financings. Previous
experience in industrial,
media/telecommunications or finance industry
group is highly preferred.

Direct the
analytical process for M&A
transactions by overseeing all
financial analysis
(sum-of-the-parts, leveraged
buyout model, company analysis,
etc)

Mentor
junior staff within the
department
-
Identify
prospects and prepare initial
analysis of market shares and
other factors
-
Liaise with
Relationship Managers in order
to prepare presentations and
materials for potential clients

Qualifications
-
7+ years in
banking analyzing M&A
transactions
-
Exposure to
industrial,
media/telecommunications or
finance industry group
preferred.

Highly
analytical – experience with the
execution of M&A transactions

Detail-oriented
-
Strong
communication skills (oral and
written)

Bachelor’s
degree required, MBA a plus
