Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank, is
currently looking for an Operations /
Internal Controls Specialist - Banking
Officer to join their Operations Planning
and Control Group located in Jersey City,
New Jersey. The ideal
candidate will have general knowledge of
various banking operations areas and product
lines and an understanding of the internal
controls function within an operations
department. Previous audit experience is
highly desired.

Conduct
inspection of all business lines
in the Operations Division.

Prepare
inspection summary reports and
present results to senior
management.

Follow up
with all issues and
irregularities and ensure that
they are solved in a timely
manner.

Liaise with
bank offices nationwide and
compile inspection summary
reports to be presented to
senior management.

Special
assignments.

Qualifications
-
3+ years of
experience in an operations
function at a financial
institution.

Self-started, ability to work
with minimal supervision.

Excellent
communication skills-both oral
and written.

Proficient
in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc).

Bachelor’s
degree
