Location
Responsibilities
Our client, a major international bank, is
seeking a Banking Officer or AVP level
credit analyst to join their Commodities and
Structured Finance Group located in Midtown.
The ideal candidate
will have 2+ years of credit analysis
experience in corporate finance.

Credit
analysis/underwriting of new
transactions – including
financial projections / modeling
and preparing written credit
applications

Identify
risk factors for each
transaction and make
recommendations for senior
management
-
Assign
credit ratings to existing
transactions and make
recommendations for any
upgrades, downgrades, etc
-
Work
alongside Marketing Officers in
order to contact agent banks,
attending bank meeting and
answering inquiries from
clients.

Prepare
Ad-Hoc projects as needed

Qualifications
-
2+ years of
experience in Corporate Finance
– credit analysis in a financial
institution
-
Exposure to
commodities finance is preferred
but not required
-
Knowledge
of corporate credit analysis and
legal documentation

Ability to
multi-task
-
Extremely
detail oriented and team player
-
Bachelor’s
degree is required

Formal
credit training highly preferred
