March numbers once again are
going in a positive direction!! Jobs up, unemployment down! With the numbers
being optimistic, corporations confidence is also increasing. Companies are
starting to take advantage of the strong talent pool both active and passive in
the marketplace. They are once again making strategic hires versus just filling
vacant seats. Strategic hires are also a strong indication that the market is
moving in the right direction because companies often use those hires for new
business initiatives, expansion, growing areas, etc. First quarter 2011 seems to
be off to a good start. We are all hoping that the next three quarters continue
on this trend. |
